Hi Bakhiti! I just heard your Cologne-concert with Paul Simon two weeks ago - I am a bassplayer myself and I have to say that it was such a brilliant experience! Totally inspiring! I grew up with my parents listening to the "Graceland"-record all day; to see and hear you play that music was really wonderful! Thanks! Cheers, Janko

Hey Kumalo family. How are you Bakithi? Seems like you have been getting great gigs man. I am playing at The Kimmel Center this saturday. I cant wait! I really enjoyed that show at The Philadelphia Art Museum. You sounded awesome man. That South-African folk song we played was awesome too.

You have any gigs in Philly/around Philly you want saxophone on? I would be honored. I hope to play with you soon man. Keep up the amazing music!! Also, did you get that gig with Robbi at the Clifford Brown Jazz Festival? It looks so nice man. If I am around during the summer, I got a gig at The Clifford Brown Jazz Festival with this club I play at---The Clef Club----with a couple really swingin cats. Really good too---this one drummer is 16 and plays with Branford Marsalis.

Anyway, hope to see you soon. Hope all goes well!

Love from all the Gilgore family.

Peace, **^^Jarrett Gilgore

Sawu Bona, Baba. Unjani? Ngi themba u gu moja. This Matthew, the musician you helped for several months with bass and congas. I am living in Florida now, teaching and still playing. If you can remember back to someone shouting for you at Radio City Music Hall last year, a good friend had gotten great seats for me and my father - he had never gotten to hear you play live so it was a great night for us.

I hope and you are your family are well, all my best wishes.

Xholisi, Thanda, Themba, & umxuli!

Matthew
